The DeviceMaster Industrial Gateway is supported by two versions of PortVision DX. Older hardware with older firmware versions are typically served better using v3.05 and newer hardware with newer firmware versions require the latest version of PortVision DX.

Technical Support recommends first installing PortVision DX v3.05 and using the Scan feature to locate your devices. If v3.05 does not locate your DeviceMaster Industrial Gateway device, install the latest version of PortVision DX and use the Scan feature.

You can use this utility to upload firmware on a Linux system. Optionally, you can use RedBoot to upload firmware.

You can use PortVision DX to identify, configure, update, and manage the DeviceMaster Industrial Gateway.

PortVision DX is the easiest way to program the IP address and upload firmware.

You can use the help system for information about using PortVision DX.

This version supports older DeviceMaster Industrial Gateway hardware and firmware versions. If you are unsure what version of PortVision DX to use, load this version first. It is easier to upgrade PortVision DX (takes about 3 minutes) but it is more difficult to downgrade the PortVision DX version.
